A Conflict of Interest

The District's Special Relationship with the Union

Our District’s $1M Gift to the Union

For 7-years, former teachers’ union president, Bob Croft, was employed by the District but did not teach in the classroom.  Croft was paid a full teacher’s salary from school funds to the extent of nearly $1M.  To make financial matters worse, a substitute teacher was hired each year since 2010 to teach Croft’s physical education class.  Meanwhile, our students struggle for access to overwhelmed school teachers and counselors.
